Montana is the major signature event in the United States for the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial during 2005 with the "Explore the Big Sky" celebration.

Events will be located in Loma, Fort Benton and Great Falls during the celebration but of interest is the celebration between June 1st and June 12th when the re-enactment activities will  be focused on Loma and Fort Benton.

If you will be following the Corps of ReDiscovery and need a fantastic camp site for your RV or camper, arrangements have been made with the landowner who owns the property where the first Lewis and Clark camp site at Decision Point, the mouth of the Marias River occurred on June 2nd 1805. This site is in a  primitive location next to the Missouri River. Camp under the stars...enjoy a campfire with friends cook your meals over a campfire, and just imagine what it was like to be a part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition 200 years previous. You will be camping on the same site they used and it is totally undeveloped. This opportunity is exclusive through us and only through this web site or our contact when you arrive in Loma.
